Clovis Police are advising people who have community mailboxes to keep an eye out for thieves and to pick-up their mail on a daily basis. We are currently experiencing a spike in community mailbox breaches at this time. Officers believe the breaches are taking place in the morning between 4:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. If you have any information regarding the possible identity of the person or people responsible for these crimes, please call Clovis Police Dispatch at 324-2800. If you see someone breaking in to a community mailbox, call 9-1-1 immediately. The Post Office is aware of the situation and is taking steps to repair the damage to the community mailboxes as soon as possible. Thank you.
