This morning shortly before 7:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Peach and Gettysburg for a victim of an assault. Upon arrival the officers located a victim who was being assisted by a passerby. It appears the victim, a female juvenile, was assaulted while walking in the north alleyway in the 400 block of west Gettysburg. The victim was on her way to a bus stop when this attack occurred.

At this time we do not have any witnesses or suspect information for this event. Detectives are currently investigating this assault and anyone who may have witnessed this incident is encouraged to contact the Clovis Police Department at 324-2800 or CrimeStoppers at 498-STOP.
