In the interest of the health and safety of the public and our employees, the City Council will move the meeting of March 16th, 2020 to the Clovis Senior Center located at 850 4th St, Clovis, CA 93612.
There have been no suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 in our facilities.
This action is being taken out of an abundance of caution by the City of Clovis, to allow what is termed “social distancing”, which follows the guidelines of Fresno County Department of Public Health as we monitor COVID-19.
Social distancing is a practice recommended by public health officials to stop or slow down the spread of contagious diseases. It requires the creation of physical space between individuals who may spread certain infectious diseases. The Senior Center allows for more space to be set up between seating than does Council Chambers. Additional social distancing recommendations include refraining from shaking hands, covering your mouth if you sneeze or cough, and staying home if sick.
