Apply to Represent Clovis on the Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District Governing Board

There is a current opening for Clovis residents to apply to represent the city on the Governing Board of the Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District (FMFCD). The purpose of the FMFCD is to control storm and other surface water flows.
FMFCD meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 6pm in the District’s Board Chambers.
The Governing Board is responsible for approving FMFCD’s budget, fees and assessments, directs matters of policy, and enacts ordinances.
Board members serve four year terms and are compensated $100 per meeting.
The Board is purposefully made up of “citizen” board members, which includes, among others, teachers, businesspeople, accountants, retired or working.
If you would like to be considered for appointment to the FMFCD Board, please follow the link below, scroll down, and complete the application, returning it to the Clovis City Clerk’s office by Friday, June 24th, at 4pm.
