Back to School Traffic Safety Enforcement Begins Monday in Clovis

Monday, August 21 marks the first day back to school for the Clovis Unified School District! Clovis Police Department’s traffic division will be assisted by patrol officers, CSO’s, and patrol volunteers to patrol around all schools within our city limits. Please give yourself extra time for your morning commute, and use caution around the more than 30 campuses in Clovis! Clovis Police want pedestrians and drivers to know that they share an equal responsibility when it comes to crosswalks. Whether you’re on foot or behind the wheel, please put the cell phone down and pay attention around the roadways, because the lives of thousands of students depend on it.

Clovis Police Department’s Facebook page will have daily back to school traffic safety tips!

To report on-going traffic violations or issues, you can call our Traffic Hotline at (559) 324-3400, submit a tip using our mobile app “Clovis Police Department mobile”, or contact our Department via social media. To report collisions, hazardous conditions, or for an immediate police response, dial 911 for emergencies and (559) 324-2800 for non-emergencies.
