On April 4, 2016 at approximately 4:18pm, Clovis Police responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of west Athens.  Upon arrival, officers located a female that had been stabbed multiple times.  She was transported by paramedics to the hospital and treated for her injuries.  She is currently in stable condition.

Clovis Police Detectives, with the assistance of the Fowler Police Department, arrested 23 year old Andy Nguyen of Clovis for attempted murder.  The weapon used has been recovered.  He was transported the Clovis Police Department for questioning by detectives.

Nguyen will be booked into the Fresno County Jail.  A mug shot is not available at this time.
