A popular restaurant rewards program is returning to Clovis for a limited time, and community members are invited to earn rewards simply by dining out at Clovis restaurants!

The City of Clovis, the Clovis Chamber of Commerce, and the Business Organization of Old Town (B.O.O.T.) are partnering once again to bring back – by popular demand – Clovis Restaurant Rewards. First introduced in early 2023, the program was created as a means of supporting local businesses and was met with incredible success, and officials estimate that over $220,000 was brought into the local economy as a result. Here’s how it works:

Every time you eat or drink at a restaurant, bar, or coffee house located in the City of Clovis, save your itemized receipt. Once you have $100 worth of receipts, bring them into the front counter at the City of Clovis Administration Building and select a $25 gift card to be used at a Clovis restaurant (one gift card per person). It’s that simple!

“The Clovis Restaurant Rewards program was a huge success in 2023,” said Greg Newman, CEO of the Clovis Chamber of Commerce. “By supporting our local restaurants, we support so much more, including our incredible restaurant operators, thousands of employees, and a thriving local economy.”

In addition to gift cards, some participants will be able to select “Old Town Bucks,” which can be used at a variety of different businesses in Old Town Clovis.

“Clovis Restaurant Rewards benefited dozens of businesses in Old Town Clovis last year,” said Heather Frantzich, Executive Director of B.O.O.T. “We’re excited to continue partnering with the City of Clovis on this program and can’t wait to see the way our community comes together this year in support of the many great restaurants in Old Town and throughout Clovis.”

Participants can begin collecting receipts now through February 12, 2024, and can begin redeeming gift cards February 1, 2024, through February 16, 2024, or until program funds are exhausted – whichever comes first. Don’t wait!

A few more details:

1. Once you spend $100, bring in your original (not a copy), itemized receipts into Clovis City Hall located at 1033 Fifth Street. Approach an available Finance window for assistance.
2. Once your receipts are verified by the staff member at the front counter, your information will be recorded and you will be able to select from available gift cards or “Old Town Bucks”.
3. Customer will receive one (1) $25 gift card or $25 worth of “Old Town Bucks” for the first $100 spent at restaurants, bars, and coffee houses located within the City of Clovis. Receipts from grocery or convenience stores will not count towards this program.
4. Only one (1) $25 gift card or $25 worth of Old Town Bucks may be picked up by any single person.
5. Purchases must be made between 12:01 A.M. on January 29, 2024 and 11:59 P.M. on February 12, 2024, or until supplies last.
6. Receipts may be redeemed beginning on February 1, 2024 and must be redeemed no later than 4:30 P.M. on February 16, 2024.
