Tonight, the State of California announced a statewide order for residents to stay at home, except for essential services. The City of Clovis has every expectation that businesses and residents in our city will comply with the measures and we will follow the State’s guidelines in enforcement.
Essential services listed in the order include:
- Hospitals and medical offices
- Gas stations
- Pharmacies
- Food: Grocery stores, farmers markets, food banks, convenience stores, take-out and delivery restaurants
- Banks
- Laundromats/laundry services
The City of Clovis will continue to provide the essential services our residents rely on, including:
- Police and Fire Services
- Public Utilities including water, sewage, and trash pickup
- Transit
