About 8:45 a.m., Clovis Police responded to a call to a residence in the 1700 block of Robinwood Avenue for a “home invasion style robbery.” With Clovis High School nearby, the Clovis Unified School District, sent out a “Facility Alert” as a precautionary measure. No students were in danger, and the alert has since been lifted. Clovis Police detectives and Crime Scene investigators combed the area for evidence and staged at the residence looking for clues as to what happened and what was taken. Two people entered the house in a “home invasion style robbery.” One resident was shot once and sustained a non-life threatening wound. He is being treated at the hospital. The case is still under investigation. It is not related to the home invasion case last week near Alluvial and Willow Avenues.
