On Thursday, June 28 at about 11:18PM, A Clovis Police Officer was traveling on Minnewawa Ave north of Shaw Ave. A driver traveling on San Jose Ave ran a posted stop sign at the intersection with Minnewawa Ave. and collided with the patrol vehicle. During the collision, a pedestrian was also struck by one of the involved vehicles.

The California Highway Patrol responded and is investigating the collision. The officer, other driver, and pedestrian were transported to a local hospital. CHP arrested the driver of the other vehicle. Our officer was treated and released from the hospital with minor injuries.
