City of Clovis to Resume Water Shut-offs and Late Fees for Non-Payment of Utilities

Water shut-offs for non-payment of utilities and late fees have been suspended since March 4, 2020 to assist customers with the negative financial impact related to the pandemic. The City of Clovis will be resuming water shutoffs, as well as the application of fees for late payments, beginning July 2022.

If you need to establish a payment plan for any outstanding balance that you may have, please contact the City at (559) 324-2130.

If you need assistance paying down any water-specific debt, you may be eligible for certain State or Federal assistance programs. One of those programs is the Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP), which will be administered through the California Department of Community Services and Development and is scheduled to begin in May 2022. For more information on LIHWAP and to learn more about the eligibility requirements, visit their website at: www.csd.ca.gov/waterbill.
