Today the State of California issued a state-wide order requiring face coverings by the general public when outside the home.
In order to comply with the State’s Order we are asking that residents wear a cloth face covering when entering any City of Clovis municipal building or vehicle. Specifically, a face covering should be worn when:
- Inside or in line to enter any public indoor space, including the lobbies of our public buildings
- Riding as a passenger on one of our public transit vehicles
- Outside engaging with a City of Clovis employee when social distancing is not possible
There are additional requirements and exemptions to the State’s Order. To see a full list please go to: https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/CDPH%20Document%20Library/COVID-19/Guidance-for-Face-Coverings_06-18-2020.pdf
