Members of the public are invited to attend the regularly scheduled Clovis City Council Meeting on Monday, December 9, 2024, which will include a declaration of results of the November 5, 2024, Clovis General Municipal Election for Clovis City Council and Measure Y followed by a reorganization of the Clovis City Council.

The City Clerk will administer the Oath of Office to Councilmember Lynne Ashbeck and Councilmember Vong Mouanoutoua. Councilmembers Ashbeck and Mouanoutoua were re-elected during the Clovis General Municipal Election on November 5, 2024. The two Councilmembers will serve for a term running through November 2028.

The remainder of the City Council consists of Councilmembers Matthew Basgall, Drew Bessinger, and Diane Pearce. All have terms which run through November 2026.

In addition to the swearing-in ceremony, the City Council will also elect one member to serve a two-year term as mayor and another member to serve a two-year term as mayor pro tem.
