We have an unfortunate update to the attempted homicide that occurred at Clovis Hookah & Cigarettes on January 11, 2022. As you know, the victim was transported to CRMC after being shot multiple times by Harmanpreet Singh. The victim passed away from her injuries on January 14, 2022 while at CRMC.

The Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 36-year-old Gurpreet Marahar of Clovis. Clovis Police Detectives have filed one count of homicide against Singh, who remains in Fresno County Jail. Our Detectives continue to investigate this case and are working with the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office. At this time, there are no further updates regarding this homicide.
