Clovis Dog Park Master Plan Process

The Clovis City Council adopted the 2018 Parks Master Plan on April 16, 2018. As part of the process, community representatives as well as City Councilmembers requested that City staff prioritize the development of a Citywide Dog Park Master Plan. To that end, at a May 1, 2018 community forum, the City proposed constructing a temporary dog park, received public input on the temporary dog park location, and invited community involvement in the drafting of the Dog Park Master Plan.

The City of Clovis Dog Park Master Plan will be utilized as a planning and budgeting document for identifying future dog park locations, amenities, park regulations, and prioritization of site development. City staff will reference the Dog Park Master Plan in future programming for dog parks.

O’Dell Engineering has been contracted to assist the City with the Dog Park Master Planning Process, and together with City Staff scheduled a Community Forum to request feedback on dog park locations, design, and amenities.  As a continuation of the community involvement process, the City invites you to take part in an online survey to provide us your thoughts, priorities, and feedback. The survey will be available until Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 4:00 PM, and can be accessed by clicking on the following link:
